FAQ featured on WBUR 90.9 FM, Boston’s NPR Station

Wow! What a great night last night at the Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum. We got to play for a totally sold-out crowd of about 200 people in the gorgeous Tapestry Room. It was such a treat. Thanks to everyone who made this concert happen!

The FAQ was featured on Wednesday on Boston’s NPR Station, WBUR 90.0 FM. We were interviewed by NPR’s Andrea Shea–which was really cool–and the interview was then magically transformed into an article, a podcast, and a new video. Click here to read A Fiddle In The Palace: High And Low Jam In ‘Chambergrass’ on WBUR’s website. And here is the video. Enjoy!

We were there in the third row and it was fantastic! The music, the background behind it, and your obvious love and enthusiasm for your music made it a very special evening.

I have been looking for exactly this type of music, and I am impressed with the performance and the orchestration. You have added a complexity to songs that make them more rather than less interesting upon repeated hearings. I hope you do more and that this type of music gets wide publicity because it is intrinsically fun, tuneful, easy to listen to, high quality music.
